Were you taking or have you ever taken Plavix®?

Plavix® (clopidogrel) is prescribed to keep blood platelets from coagulating or clotting. This is designed to prevent unwanted blood clots that can occur with certain heart or blood vessel conditions. Plavix® and its generic, clopidogrel, have recently been found to have a number of negative side effects including an increase in internal hemorrhaging. This ranges from cerebral bleeding to gastrointestinal bleeding and bleeding ulcers. Potential Plavix®/Clopidogrel Injuries include:

•Internal Bleeding
•Gastrointestinal Bleeding
•Cerebral Bleeding or Hemorrhage
•Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP)
•Bone Marrow Damage
•Heart attack
•Stroke
•Ulcers
•Death
The following symptoms are indications of excessive internal bleeding:
•Bleeding that lasts a long time
•Coughing up blood
•Dizziness
•Headaches
•Joint pain
•Red or black stools
•Swelling
•Uncontrollable, severe bleeding
•Urine that is pink or brown
•Vomit that looks like coffee grounds
•Vomiting blood
